Knitted pieces meets movement in a durational piece exploring ideas surrounding inhabiting the space as a woman. Ella Tighe, dance artist and Coco Cripps, textile designer bring their practices together to explore the cyclical nature of womanhood. A series of movement scores working with the knitted pieces designed and created in response to a series of conversations between the artists about their existence as women in relation to society. This piece was developed and performed in St George’s garrison Church, in Woolwich, London. This interestingruin also reflected back into the performance that was created.
